Memetics

The term meme, first introduced by Richard Dawkins, is used today to refer to a viral picture or video. This book treats it much more seriously. The fact is that our brain is optimized to take part in social interactions, and memes are a vital component of this process. Competition of ideas is the primary occupation of human society. This chapter explains the main criteria that every Knowman uses to select the right memes. We will take another step toward understanding the design of human society and how it builds a network of collective knowledge, called culture.
